It was april 10, 1912. The British Luxury "Liner" Titanic was sailing from southampton to New York. The ship weighed 46.000 tons. It was the first journey and captain Smith was sailing the ship. It was very big and luxurious, everybody knew the liner was unsinkable because of this 16 waterlight compartments. There were more than 2.220 passengers.

Main points of plot

Many rich people including the american milliovaire Benjamin Guggenheim were on board. Some poor inmigrantsfrom irland were also traveling to america in search of a better life. Two days later, just before midnight, the ship was traveling too fast at a speed of 22 knots. Suddenly, it "struck" an iceberg and "punctured" five of the compartments. The ship sank in less than three hours. Unluckly, 1513 people died because there were not enought lifeboats for everybody.

General comments

Even today grandparents remember sad stories related ti this tragic accident. For example, they tell how captain Smith stayed in the ship and the band kept on playing whike it was sinking. In september 1985 an american-french scientific expedition located the titanic was approximately 370 milles from the coast of new foundland. it was 75% intact.

Recommendation

My opinion this movie is very interesting for all people, in adition the most expectors told that this film was important for captains, because they said that God don´t important for this board nothing.
